Abstract

This study examines the role of da'wah activities at Mus'ab bin Umair Mosque in Kampar Regency in enhancing the religious awareness of the surrounding community. The mosque, established in 2021, has become an active center for Islamic da'wah through structured activities. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with field research design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation from mosque administrators, da'i (preachers), and community members. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that da'wah activities—encompassing verbal da'wah (regular religious lessons and Friday sermons), practical da'wah (social charity activities), and digital da'wah (social media-based content)—have significantly improved community religious awareness across three dimensions: cognitive (deeper understanding of Islamic teachings based on authentic evidence), affective (spiritual tranquility and strengthened Islamic brotherhood), and behavioral (increased congregation attendance, improved worship quality, and enhanced daily ethics). Supporting factors include qualified da'i from Islamic universities, strategic mosque location, and transparent financial management. Obstacles include traditional worship practices, negative digital content, and limited digital media human resources. The study concludes that the mosque plays a pivotal role as a center for community religious development in Kampar.
