Abstract
This study examines the relationship between da‘wah strategies and youth participation in contemporary mosque activities, particularly in transforming passive attendance into active engagement. Amid the rapid development of digital culture and globalization, many mosques encounter difficulties in attracting young generations because traditional preaching approaches often fail to address contemporary youth needs. This research aims to analyze how integrated da‘wah strategies influence the level of youth participation in mosque-based activities. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that integrated da‘wah strategies encompassing worship, education, social empowerment, and digital communication significantly improve youth participation. The transformation process gradually moves from attendance to interaction, initiative, and leadership involvement. Furthermore, the research indicates that participatory communication, emotional engagement, and digital adaptation are key elements in strengthening youth attachment to mosque institutions. This study offers a participatory da‘wah model as a theoretical and practical contribution to contemporary Islamic communication and youth empowerment studies.
