Abstract
This research examines da'wah messages in the "Hayyā Binā Naṣūm" episodes of the Syāmil wa Dūdū animated series and their educational impact on strengthening children's fasting commitment. Employing a qualitative approach with content analysis methodology, primary data were gathered through systematic observation of dialogues, scenes, and visual representations across three episodes. The theoretical framework draws on al-Bayānūnī's da'wah theory and Piaget's cognitive developmental theory. Findings reveal that da'wah messages encompass three pillars: 'aqīdah, sharī'ah, and akhlāq, communicated through three modalities: bil-lisān (verbal), bil-ḥāl (contextual), and al-uswah al-ḥasanah (exemplary). Educational impact manifests in three dimensions: cognitive (transformation of abstract Ramadan concepts into concrete visual representations), affective (internal motivation via character modeling), and psychomotor (behavioral commitment through positive emotional association with worship). This study demonstrates that Islamic animated media can serve as an effective da'wah tool that aligns with children's cognitive stages and supports early religious character formation through engaging educational storytelling.
