Abstract
This study aims to identify the verses in The Quran, specifically from Surah Al-Hujurat, that can be quoted to develop speaking skills among intermediate learners of Arabic as a foreign language, as well as to explain their linguistic and educational meanings. The topic was chosen due to the need for instructional approaches that help learners improve oral communication skills through authentic texts containing moral and communicative values. The study employed a descriptive-analytical method by analyzing the Qur’anic verses in Surah Al-Hujurat, and explaining their meanings and relationship to speaking skill development. The findings revealed eleven verses containing thirteen quotation expressions centered on educational values such as speaking etiquette, verifying information, reconciliation among people, avoiding mockery and backbiting, and promoting brotherhood and mutual understanding. The study also found that these verses are characterized by clear meanings and simple structures, making them suitable for use in everyday communicative situations. The study concludes that Qur’anic quotation from Surah Al-Hujurat contributes to improving speaking skills and communicative competence among non-native Arabic learners by combining linguistic accuracy with moral values in communication.
