Abstract
Qur’anic vocabulary plays a significant role in developing language skills for language learners. If a learner does not master the vocabulary, they will face difficulties in understanding and learning the language and its skills. The Arabic language learners at the second level of the college department at STIBA Ar rayah have memorized Surah Al-Muddathir along with its Qur’anic vocabulary, making it easier for them to learn and apply it. Therefore, the researcher chose this title. This study aims to identify the Qur’anic vocabulary that can be utilized in teaching the language to second-level students in the college department at STIBA Ar rayah from Surah Al-Muddathir, and to determine how to benefit from the Qur’anic vocabulary in this Surah to develop speaking skills. The method used by the researcher in conducting this study is the descriptive-analytical method. The study has shown that the number of Qur’anic vocabulary words that can be utilized to develop speaking skills from Surah Al-Muddathir amounts to 87 words. These can be used by Arabic language teachers and learners in the teaching and learning process. These vocabulary words can be utilized to develop speaking skills by presenting methods of using them in dialogues and exercises.
