Abstract
Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA), the first wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, played a vital role in the
early spread of Islam through her unwavering support, patience, and sacrifices. This study aims to
explore her significant contributions during the formative period of Islamic da'wah and highlight
her position as a role model for Muslim women in all eras. Using a descriptive-analytical method,
the research collects and analyzes data from classical historical sources and literature related to
her biography and the challenges faced during the early phase of Islam. The findings reveal that
Khadijah (RA) was not merely a supportive spouse but a pivotal figure whose emotional and
financial support enabled the Prophet ﷺ to carry out his mission with resilience. Her steadfastness
during times of hardship, including the boycott of Banu Hashim, reflects a deep level of faith and
commitment. The study concludes that her legacy continues to inspire, emphasizing the
importance of strong family communication, trust, and shared spiritual goals in sustaining Islamic
activism. Her life offers timeless lessons for contemporary Muslim women striving to balance
family, faith, and community involvement amidst modern challenges.
