Abstract
Proverbs play a role in developing students' speaking skills. Proverbs are an appropriate method in the educational process for advanced-level students, as they contain figurative expressions and linguistic eloquence that students can use to improve their expressions and enrich their vocabulary in the development of speaking skills.This research aims to analyze and compile the proverbs found in the book "Al-Amthal min al-Hadith al-Nabawi" authored by Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Asbahani, and to utilize them in enhancing the speaking skills of non-Arabic-speaking students at an advanced level. This book is considered a rich source of prophetic proverbs, combining linguistic eloquence and prophetic wisdom, making it a suitable and effective educational resource for teaching the Arabic language.This study adopts a qualitative library-based approach using descriptive-analytical methods. Data collection was conducted through reading and reviewing Arabic books, articles, and scientific research related to the subject of the study.The results of this study show that the researcher identified 25 proverbs from the book "Al-Amthal fi al-Hadith al-Nabawi" by Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Asbahani. These were compiled and analyzed, and can be utilized by students to enhance their speaking skills through five lessons, each including dialogues, stories, and exercises.
