Abstract

The researcher carried out this study due to researchers' statements about grammatical structures that indicate their importance in teaching the Arabic language. This study aims to find out the description of the grammatical structures found in the book Al- ‘Arabiyah baina Yadaik, Book 1 of Part 1, and the extent of their impact on the development of speech skill among female students from the language preparation level at STIBA Ar-Raayah Sukabumi. The study followed the quantitative method, by analyzing the statistical data through the use of Ms. Excel Fitur Analysis Data. The result of this study is that the grammatical structures in the book Al-‘Arabiyah baina Yadaik include types of structures including: Nominal sentence, verbal sentence, prepositional, alternative, interrogative, demonstrative, auxiliary, causal, circumstantial, and numerical structures and the extent of the impact of grammatical structures on the development of speech skill is that between grammatical structures and the development of speech skill is a positive correlation as the coefficient of determination revealed that grammatical structures have an impact of 0, 637 or equivalent to 64% only in the development of speech skill, while the rest of the affected is from other factors not mentioned in this research. The conclusion from this study is that the grammatical structures in the book Al- ‘Arabiyah baina Yadaik include the description of the structures, their type and their role in the development of speech skill and they positively affect the development of speech skill for female students from the level of language preparation.
