Abstract
Teaching Arabic sounds is considered one of the important aspects of Arabic language instruction, especially for non-native learners who often face difficulties in pronouncing certain letters such as the letter (ʿAyn) due to differences between the Arabic sound system and their mother tongue. This study aims to describe the use of instructional media and technology in teaching the Arabic letter (ʿAyn) and to explain its classroom implementation. The study employed a descriptive-applicative method through observation, classroom practice, and documentation. The findings revealed that the use of audio, visual, and audiovisual media, along with educational technology such as voice recordings and learning applications, contributed to improving students’ pronunciation, increasing classroom interaction, and reducing phonetic errors in pronouncing the letter (ʿAyn). The study concludes that the use of instructional media and technology positively contributes to the teaching Arabic sounds and enhances students’ listening and speaking skills
