Abstract

This research discusses the use of the Wordwall.net platform in vocabulary assessment as a modern digital tool that helps teachers develop more interactive and enjoyable evaluation methods. The study explains the importance of assessment in the educational process, as it is not limited to determining students’ success or failure, but also aims to improve learning and address students’ weaknesses. It also highlights the importance of vocabulary in language learning, since vocabulary helps learners understand, express themselves correctly, and use words in appropriate contexts. The researcher adopted the descriptive method by presenting the history, features, and procedures of using the Wordwall platform in assessment, starting from creating an account, selecting suitable templates, entering questions, transforming them into interactive activities, sharing them with students, and monitoring results electronically. The findings show that Wordwall has several advantages, including ease of use, saving time and effort, increasing student interaction, providing quick and accurate results, and making tests more engaging. However, the study also identified some disadvantages, such as the need for devices and internet access, limited image resources, and its unsuitability for long essay questions. The study concludes that Wordwall is a useful and effective tool for vocabulary assessment, but it should be used as a complement to traditional assessment methods rather than a complete replacement.
