Abstract
Teaching vocabulary and developing listening skills are two essential components in acquiring the Arabic language for beginners, as they have a direct impact on listening comprehension, building linguistic competence, and improving communication abilities. The Fun Easy Learn Arabic application contributes effectively to supporting these skills through interactive educational methods that rely on images, accurate pronunciation, and training activities. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using the Fun Easy Learn Arabic application in improving listening and vocabulary skills among beginners at ILC in learning the Arabic language. The study adopts a quantitative research approach, which relies on statistical methods, and the researcher used a field-based quasi-experimental design. The researcher employed Ms. Excel (Data Analysis Toolpak) and SPSS 24.0 for data analysis. Based on the pre-test and post-test data analysis of 25 students, the use of the Fun Easy Learn Arabic application proved to be highly effective in enhancing vocabulary learning and listening skills among beginners at the ILC Center, as the average pre-test score increased from 64 to 89.2 in the post-test. The results of the Paired Sample t-test showed that the significance value (Sig = 0.000) is less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the two measurements, which means rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis. The correlation between the two tests showed a moderate relationship, while the mean difference between the results reached –27 points, which is a considerable difference confirming the clear positive effect of the application. Therefore, the study demonstrates that the use of this application contributed effectively and directly to improving students’ vocabulary and listening skills.
