Abstract

This study aimed to identify the fiqh terms contained in Tawdih al-Ahkam (Tawdih al-Ahkam min Bulugh al-Maram) Volume One, analyze their linguistic meanings, and explain how these terms can be utilized to enrich Arabic vocabulary among students of Ar-Raayah University (Institut Muslim Cendekia), Sukabumi, Indonesia. The study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through document analysis of the book under study and then analyzed based on the linguistic and terminological meanings of each term by referring to Arabic dictionaries and specialized references. The findings indicate that the book contains 30 fiqh terms with specific terminological meanings that differ from their linguistic meanings, distributed across two main chapters: 25 terms in the first chapter and 5 terms in the second. These terms can be utilized to enrich students' vocabulary through five types of language exercises: matching words with definitions or synonyms, constructing sentences, completing sentence gaps, composing meaningful sentences, and distinguishing between linguistic and fiqh meanings of terms within sentence contexts.
