Abstract
This study aims to identify rhetorical styles appropriate for non-native learners of Arabic in three chapters of Wahy al-Qalam and to develop proposed rhetorical exercises based on those styles. Employing a qualitative library research design, the study used a descriptive-analytical method through close reading, classification, analysis, and interpretation of the selected chapters. This study resulted in the following two results: First, the style of rhetoric learned through reading three chapters of the book "The Revelation of the Pen" has 7 styles, and its details are as follows: 12 phrases with the style of simile, 9 phrases with the style of metaphor, 7 phrases with the style of metaphor, 3 phrases with the style of metaphor, one phrase with the style of calling, one phrase with the style of exclamation, and one phrase with the style of application. Based on these findings, the study developed 21 proposed rhetorical exercises distributed across the identified styles: 3 for simile, 3 for metaphor, 3 for metonymy, 3 for metonymic transfer, 3 for vocative style, 3 for exclamatory style, and 3 for antithesis.
