Abstract
This study aims to analyze the rhetorical imagery (al-suwar al-bayaniyah) in the story of Prophet Noah in Surah Hud and examine its role in developing speaking skills for non-native Arabic speakers. The research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach through library research, using Quranic verses, classical exegesis, rhetoric references, and related educational studies as primary data sources. The findings reveal various rhetorical devices, including metaphor, metonymy, and figurative expressions, which contribute to strengthening meanings, visualizing events, and enhancing the emotional impact of the Quranic narrative. The study also demonstrates the educational potential of rhetorical imagery through oral activities, dialogues, and speaking exercises that support learners’ communicative competence and verbal expression. The research concludes that integrating Quranic rhetorical imagery into Arabic language teaching can create a more interactive and meaningful learning process, especially in developing speaking skills among non-native Arabic learners.
