Abstract
This study aims to explore vocabulary derived from news media, particularly from Al-Jazeera.Net, in order to enrich the Arabic vocabulary of students at Ar-Raayah University. The research also seeks to enable learners to understand contemporary terms related to the Palestinian issue, facilitate comprehension of news texts, and uncover methods for utilizing this vocabulary to enhance the Arabic language. The study employs a descriptive-analytical method by collecting terms from Al-Jazeera.Net news articles over a specific period and analyzing them linguistically and terminologically. The research successfully identifies vocabulary in electronic journalism, such as "Israeli blockade" and "genocide," along with explanations of their meanings and connotations. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of news texts in enriching students' vocabulary. The study recommends integrating this vocabulary into the educational curriculum to enhance Arabic learners' ability to comprehend news texts.
