Abstract
This study aims to investigate the implementation of nonverbal communication (body language) in teaching Arabic verbs to students at Institut muslim cendekia, Sukabumi, focusing on the differences between acquiring concrete and abstract verbs. The research employed a descriptive-analytical method. The sample consisted of 20 Arabic language students who participated in a learning experience based on the physical representation of verbs. Data were collected through direct observation and questionnaires. The results indicated that 85% of students confirmed the frequent use of body language by their instructors. Furthermore, the study demonstrated high effectiveness, with 90% of students agreeing that body language facilitated faster comprehension of Arabic verbs without relying on translation. Findings also revealed that concrete verbs were more easily understood through gestures compared to abstract verbs.
