Abstract

Arabic has distinctive characteristics compared to other languages because it is the language of the Islamic nation that has preserved its authenticity throughout the ages. Therefore, it has received great attention in the field of education, especially in developing the four language skills, one of which is reading skill. Teaching reading skills in the modern era has become increasingly important and urgent, both for native and non-native speakers of Arabic, due to its essential role in understanding texts, acquiring knowledge, and developing thinking abilities. With the rapid development of technology, many modern educational applications have emerged to facilitate the learning process and make it more interactive. One of these applications is Quizlet. This study aims to describe the use of the Quizlet application in teaching reading skills at Al-Wafi Institute and to explain its role in improving the learning process and increasing students’ interaction during lessons. The researcher employed a descriptive qualitative method through observation and interviews for data collection and analysis. The results of the study showed that the use of the Quizlet application helps teachers present vocabulary and texts in an engaging way. In addition, it contributes to increasing students’ motivation and improving their reading comprehension skills, while also facilitating the learning process through modern interactive media.
