Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching methodology of Arabic speaking skills at Ar-Rahmah Junior High School Sukabumi and to identify the factors that can improve its effectiveness. The research is based on the assumption that students face difficulties in communicative competence due to limited practice, lack of vocabulary retention, and low motivation. This study employs a qualitative field research method using descriptive analytical approaches. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving students, teachers, the school principal, and experts in Arabic language education. The findings reveal that the development of speaking skills depends on several integrated elements, including the creation of an effective language environment, strong educational supervision, teacher competence as role models, a structured curriculum, increased student motivation, and the use of appropriate learning media. These elements collectively contribute to improving students’ speaking ability gradually and effectively. This research highlights the importance of combining pedagogical strategies with supportive learning environments to enhance Arabic speaking skills in non-native contexts
