Abstract
This study aims to analyze the meanings of terminological vocabulary found in Al-Fiqh Al-Manhaji (the chapter on zakat) and to explain its effect on enriching the linguistic repertoire of students at Al-Rayah University. The significance of this study stems from the important role of vocabulary in developing language competence among Arabic learners, especially non-native speakers. Many students face difficulties in understanding terminological expressions found in classical fiqh texts, which affects their ability to comprehend and express language effectively. Therefore, this research seeks to identify the meanings of terminological vocabulary in the chapter of zakat and demonstrate its role in enriching students’ linguistic repertoire. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical method through library research by collecting data from Al-Fiqh Al-Manhaji and several authoritative Arabic dictionaries, followed by lexical, semantic, and contextual analysis of the vocabulary. The findings reveal that the chapter on zakat contains numerous terminological expressions with rich linguistic and semantic values that contribute to the enrichment of students’ linguistic repertoire. The study also highlights the importance of utilizing classical fiqh texts in Arabic language teaching. The novelty of this study lies in linking the semantic analysis of terminological vocabulary with language enrichment in the context of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers
