The Contribution of Moral Values to Conveying the Da‘wah Message in the Book Ḥadīth al-Masā’ by Adham Sharqāwī إسهام القيم الأخلاقية في إيصال الرسالة الدعوية في كتاب حديث المساء لأدهم شرقاوي

Abstract

Moral values are considered important means of directing human behavior and strengthening Islamic principles in society. This study aims to analyze the moral values contained in the book Hadith al-Masa’ by Adham Sharqawi and to explain their contribution to conveying the message of da‘wah. The importance of this study arises from the widespread influence of contemporary literature, making its use in the field of da‘wah important in instilling Islamic values through a style that is close to real life. This study employed a qualitative approach through library research using a descriptive-analytical method by collecting texts related to moral values in the book Hadith al-Masa’ and analyzing them from a da‘wah perspective. The findings reveal that the book contains various moral values, including compassion and benevolence, altruism, self-purification, sincerity, patience, positive thinking, gentleness, and emotional affection. The findings also indicate that the author presents these values through a literary and emotional style that is closely related to real life, thereby contributing to the moral and spiritual influence on readers. The study concludes that the moral values in the book Hadith al-Masa’ contribute effectively to conveying the message of da‘wah through a humanistic and emotional style that strengthens Islamic values in society.
