Abstract
The terminologies found in the structure of international positions are considered important vocabularies that contribute to understanding contemporary political and diplomatic discourse. They also help develop the linguistic competence of Arabic language learners, especially in the field of academic expression. With the increasing need to expand the vocabulary repertoire of students at Institut Muslim Cendekia, the importance of benefiting from these terminologies in enriching linguistic expressions and developing students’ communication and comprehension skills has emerged. Therefore, this study aims to identify the terminologies used in the structure of international positions in Indonesia and their meanings, as well as to explain ways of utilizing them in enriching the linguistic expressions of Institut Muslim Cendekia students.The method used in this study is the descriptive-analytical method, which is based on accurately describing phenomena or data, then analyzing and interpreting them in order to reach clear scientific results.The study revealed that the terminologies related to the structure of international positions contribute to enriching linguistic expressions and developing the linguistic competence of Institut Muslim Cendekia students, especially in understanding political discourse and academic expression. The study also recommended applying these terminologies in daily conversation through educational activities and learning materials.
