Abstract
Reading comprehension is the ultimate goal of reading. STIBA Ar-Raayah has given it special attention, making it one of the main objectives of education. In pursuit of this goal, the university introduced the subject of At-Tażawwuq Al-Lughawiy as part of the curriculum for fifth-level female students in the Department of Arabic Language Education over the past two years. This research aims to examine the impact of the At-Tażawwuq Al-Lughawiy subject among reading comprehension skills of fifth-level students at STIBA Ar-Raayah. This study is a field-based quantitative research. The researcher used the following methods to collect data: library research, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis for this study was conducted using the Microsoft Excel Data Analysis feature through simple linear regression analysis (Analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana). A random sample of 60 students was selected for the study. The study reached the following conclusion: the At-Tażawwuq Al-Lughawiy subject has a positive effect on the development of reading comprehension skills among fifth-level students. The regression equation Y = 2.272 + 0.821X indicates that each one-unit increase in At-Tażawwuq Al-Lughawiy leads to an increase of 0.821 in reading comprehension skills. This defines the extent of the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable.
