Abstract
This study is motivated by the growing use of digital dictionaries in Arabic language learning, particularly in the fields of semantics and lexicography, which require a deeper understanding of meaning and its usage. The study aims to examine the educational dimensions of the Doha Historical Dictionary in teaching semantics and lexicography at Muslim Cendekia Institute. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving eighth-level female students in the Arabic Language Education program. The findings reveal that the Doha Historical Dictionary possesses several educational dimensions, including the cognitive dimension, which enhances understanding of meaning; the skill dimension, which develops lexical analysis abilities; the applied dimension, which connects theory with practice; and the technological dimension, which supports digital-based learning. However, its utilization in the learning process remains suboptimal, as it is largely theoretical in nature. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance its practical implementation in order to maximize its benefits in the learning process.
