Abstract
Public Speaking is a fundamental skill that contributes to improve the preacher’s ability to communicate and delivered the message effectively. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Public Speaking activity and examine its impact on shaping the preacher’s personality. This research used a quantitative descriptive method with data analysis conducted using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the Public Speaking activity, as an additional program, includes two main components: theoretical study, which provides weekly information from the internet, and practical study, which aims to build confidence through activities such as debates, session management, and speech delivery. The statistical results (p-value < 0.05) showed a positive and statistically significant effect of the Art of Speaking activity on the development of the preacher’s personality. The regression coefficient of the activity was 0.936, confirming its substantial role in shaping the preacher’s personality by enhancing self-confidence and commitment to Islamic values. The study recommends continuing the development of the Art of Speaking activity due to its important role in preparing effective female preachers.
