Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of speaking proficiency among female students of the Language Preparation Department at Muslim Cendekia Institute based on the results of the oral test. Speaking skills are considered one of the essential skills in learning Arabic, especially in an educational environment that uses Standard Arabic in daily communication. This study employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive method and involved 100 female students as the research sample. Data were collected through documentation and interviews, while the oral test results served as the primary source of data. The data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 24 through frequency distribution and percentage analysis. The findings showed that the students’ speaking proficiency level tended to be high, with 79% classified in the high category, 16% in the medium category, and 5% in the low category. These results indicate that most students possess good oral communication skills in Arabic within the educational environment. The study concludes that the speaking proficiency level of the female students in the Language Preparation Department at Muslim Cendekia Institute is generally high, although some students still require further training and continuous language practice.
