Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of the Fiqh course from the Arabic Language Teaching Series for non-native speakers in developing Arabic vocabulary among first-year students in the Language Preparation Department at Ar-Raayah University (Institut Muslim Cendekia). Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the research analyzed the content of the Fiqh course to extract and classify its vocabulary, then measured students' acquisition of that vocabulary through questionnaires, interviews, and classroom observation. Data were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Results revealed that 44 rare lexical items were identified in the course, distributed morphologically as: nouns (45.45%), verbal nouns/masdar (27.27%), verbs (20.45%), and others. Semantically, general linguistic vocabulary dominated (43.2%), followed by jurisprudential (25.0%) and educational (13.6%) vocabulary. Field data showed that the vast majority of students agreed that the Fiqh course contributed positively to their Arabic vocabulary development. The teacher employed contextual explanation, repetition, and real-life connection strategies. The study concludes that the Fiqh course serves as an integrated educational tool that simultaneously develops religious knowledge and Arabic linguistic competence
