Abstract
Arabic is one of the richest languages in vocabulary and style, and has received great attention since the early Islamic era as the language of revelation and the key to religious and literary sciences. Among the richest sources of refined vocabulary and grammatical structures are heritage books, which represent the accumulated scientific and cultural output of scholars throughout Islamic history. This topic was chosen due to findings showing a relative weakness in vocabulary among female students of the Arabic Language Education Department at STIBA Ar-Rayah Sukabumi, especially in using eloquent vocabulary. This study aims to determine the role of heritage books in enriching students' vocabulary, focusing on selected textbooks that include heritage texts taught at the university. The researcher used a descriptive-quantitative method, collecting data through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The study found that heritage books play an effective role in vocabulary enrichment; the regression equation between heritage book study and vocabulary enrichment is Y’ = 0.91 + 0.95X. The correlation coefficient of 0.824 indicates a very strong relationship between the variables, proving that heritage books positively and effectively influence Arabic vocabulary enrichment.
