Abstract
This research aims to reveal the contribution of economic terminology to enriching the vocabulary mastery of Arabic language learners through an article published on Al Jazeera Net on May 1, 2026. This study is motivated by the importance of understanding modern terminology in comprehending contemporary Arabic media and economic texts. The research employed a descriptive analytical method by collecting economic terms found in the selected article and analyzing their linguistic and terminological meanings based on Arabic dictionaries and relevant scientific references. The findings indicate that the article contains various modern economic terms, such as inflation, monetary policy, economic growth, investment, fiscal deficit, purchasing power, and insurance. These terms significantly contribute to expanding the vocabulary of Arabic language learners and improving their understanding of modern media discourse. As the study indicates, the use of contemporary media articles in Arabic language teaching contributes to the development of linguistic understanding and strengthens the connection between vocabulary learning and real-life contexts.
