Abstract
This study was motivated by the various difficulties faced by female students during microteaching practice as part of the preparation program for prospective Arabic language teachers at Institut Muslim Cendekia Ar Raayah Sukabumi. The study aimed to analyze the forms of microteaching difficulties experienced by eighth-level female students of the tenth cohort in psychological, methodological, and technical-administrative aspects. This research employed a qualitative descriptive-analytical method using a case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and documentation involving thirteen female students, two supervisors, and the program coordinator. The findings revealed that psychological difficulties were the most dominant, including nervousness, fear, trembling, and lack of self-confidence during teaching practice. In addition, methodological difficulties were found in lesson plan preparation, time management, and variation of teaching methods, while technical-administrative difficulties included unclear assessment standards and differences in supervisors’ guidance. The study concludes that more systematic preparation and guidance are needed to improve the quality of the microteaching program at Ar Raayah.
