Abstract

One of the problems with Generation Alpha is that the quality of what they watch is often less educational and more about instant gratification. In the digital era, animated children's media serves not only as entertainment but also as a means of character education and religious values. This study aims to examine the representation of Islamic education in the animated series "Nussa," which targets Generation Alpha. The research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis methods. Data were collected through observations of three episodes of "Nussa," dialogue transcriptions, interviews, and documentation from articles and media reviews. Unlike similar studies, this research focuses on analyzing the religious values that are cleverly implemented, as well as the visual and narrative elements that represent Islamic educational values, such as worship practices, morals, and symbols conveying Islamic messages. The findings indicate that "Nussa" effectively communicates Islamic educational values through stories that resonate with children's lives, the use of inspiring characters, and engaging visuals. The series adopts a simple yet effective storytelling style to convey moral and spiritual messages. Furthermore, "Nussa" successfully serves as an alternative educational media that aligns with the characteristics of Generation Alpha, who are growing up in a digital environment, by leveraging advanced technology that holds great potential in supporting contextual Islamic education, modernizing dakwah strategies, and adapting to the evolving times.
