Abstract
The story of Maryam in the Qur'an is one of the narratives that is rich in Islamic educational values, especially in the character building of Muslim teenagers. This study aims to identify and analyze the educational values contained in the story of Maryam and its relevance to the character building of Muslim teenagers. Qualitative research based on literature review and thematic interpretation approach, this study collects Qur'anic verses related to the story of Maryam, as well as other supporting literature. The results show that the values of Islamic education that can be taken from the story of Maryam include three main aspects: the value of faith, such as faith in Allah and obedience to His commands; the value of sharia, such as maintaining self-respect and performing worship diligently; and moral values, such as patience, honesty, and gratitude. Maryam's character who is obedient, maintains honor, and has seriousness in educating her child is an important example for Muslim teenagers in building a strong personality in accordance with Islamic teachings.The implication of this research is that the story of Maryam can be used as a model of character education to face the challenges of the times that often distance teenagers from their nature as servants of Allah. By emulating Maryam's character, it is hoped that Muslim teenagers will be able to become individuals who have noble character, integrity, and contribute positively to society.
