Abstract

This research aims to determine the Ilqo’ Al-Ma’luumaat Al-Lughowiyyah implemented by female students at Ar Raayah University in Sukabumi, and to determine the impact of this activity on enriching the Arabic vocabulary of them. This research is a descriptive quantitative study. The researcher used the Ms. Exel Fitur Analysis Data program to analyze the data. The research proved that the Ilqo’ Al-Ma’luumaat Al-Lughowiyyah is one of the linguistic activities carried out by the Department of Arabic Language Revival for Female at Ar Raayah University. The goal  of this activity is to manage and improve the language of the students. This department provided diverse information, including new vocabulary, Arabic methods, correction of linguistic errors, and more. This activity was held twice a week, every Monday and Thursday after the midday prayer in the school hall. The result extracted from the regression equation between the impact of the Ilqo’ Al-Ma’luumaat Al-Lughowiyyah on enriching Arabic vocabulary is Y’= 9.90 + 0.802 X. Based on the correlation coefficient result, the result obtained a value of 0.824, which indicates that it is at a very strong level. Therefore, there is a positive correlation between Ilqo’ Al-Ma’luumaat Al-Lughowiyyah and the enrichment of Arabic vocabulary. It was known from the determination coefficient that Ilqo’ Al-Ma’luumaat Al-Lughowiyyah affects 0.674 = (r2) or 67.4% of the enrichment of Arabic vocabulary, while the rest of the affected percentage is from other factors not mentioned in this research
