The Impact of the Book Al-Madkhal Ilaa 'Ilmi ad-Da'wah (The Introduction to the Science of Da'wah) on the Da'wah skill of the Fifth Batch Female Students from the Department of Islamic Da'wah and Communication at STIBA Ar-Raayah

Abstract

People's need for Da'wah has become increasingly urgent these days, and in the academic context, the book "Introduction to the Science of Da'wah" is one of the basic references used in teaching this subject in the Department of Da'wah and Media. The aim of this research was to demonstrate the extent to which the book "Introduction to the Science of Da'wah" has impacted the development of Da'wah skills among fifth-year female students in the Department of Da'wah and Media at Al Raya University. The researcher used a descriptive quantitative approach and relied on library research, observation, and a questionnaire to collect data. The sample size was 22 female students from the entire original community. The data was analyzed using simple linear regression in Excel. The methods used by the researcher to collect the data required for the research were library research and questionnaires. Data analysis for this research was performed using MS Excel Analysis Data Fittings, using simple regression analysis. The results of the research showed that the book "Introduction to the Science of Da'wah" has a positive impact on Da'wah skills, with the regression equation being y = 3.23 + 0.74X. The correlation coefficient (r) also reached 0.682, indicating a strong relationship. That is, the more students understood the book's content, the more their da'wah skills improved. However, the book represents only one element among several influential factors in developing da'wah skills.
