Abstract
This study aims to reveal the nobility and significance of the Arabic language in understanding the Qur'an and Islamic law, with particular focus on how grammatical diacritics (i'rab), lexical selection (lafz), and contextual analysis determine the meanings of verses. By combining an inductive approach through examining scholars' views on Arabic's superiority, tracing verses containing the term "Arab," and analyzing polysemous words, along with an analytical approach to investigate the language's role in Qur'anic interpretation and cases where changes in i'rab, word choice, or context alter meaning, the research conclusively demonstrates that Arabic is a sacred language serving as the medium of revelation and worship - where i'rab functions with remarkable precision in determining meaning, each lexical choice carries distinct significance despite apparent synonymity, and context plays a pivotal role in exegesis. These findings not only affirm Arabic's preeminence over other languages but also emphasize that profound mastery of Arabic is an absolute prerequisite for accurate understanding of the Qur'an and Islamic jurisprudence, thereby reinforcing its position as the fundamental foundation in Islamic studies and linguistic scholarship.
