Abstract

The Arabic language stands out from other languages due to its rich and diverse vocabulary, which forms the fundamental building block for understanding and mastering the language in various ways. In the modern era, the need for vocabulary instruction has become more pressing, whether for native speakers or non-native learners. Vocabulary serves as the vessel that connects ideas and enables their fluent expression, whether in daily conversation, literary and scientific texts, or for teachers conveying information and learners seeking to expand their linguistic knowledge. Teaching vocabulary is one of the most crucial aspects that requires attention. With the advancement of time, technologies have become widespread and easily accessible in various fields, including the teaching of Arabic vocabulary. Their emergence came as a solution to several problems in traditional vocabulary teaching methods, as the eras that relied on conventional approaches have passed. Modern technologies such as flashcard applications contribute to facilitating the educational process of memorization, review, and exercises. Based on this, the researcher aims to study this topic under the title: "The use of the Quizlet application in teaching Arabic vocabulary at Al-Wafi School ". The research population was limited to students at Al-Wafi School in Depok, and the methodology followed by the researcher was a qualitative descriptive study. This study demonstrated the teacher's efficiency in using the flashcard application for vocabulary instruction.
