Abstract
Teaching Arabic to female students at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Wadi Mubarak, requires an appropriate approach to ensure an effective learning process and optimal language proficiency. The diversity of the students’ linguistic backgrounds necessitates the selection of teaching strategies that align with their specific needs. This study aims to examine the implementation of various teaching approaches in Arabic language instruction and analyze their impact on the Arabic language skills of the students at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Wadi Mubarak. The research focuses on the female students as subjects, emphasizing the teaching approaches applied and the learning outcomes achieved. The study employs a qualitative method, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The data is analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation and effectiveness of the teaching approaches. The results indicate that the application of communicative and integrative approaches in Arabic language instruction has a significant positive impact on the students’ communication abilities and understanding of the Arabic language. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of adaptive and contextual teaching approaches in enhancing the quality of Arabic language education at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Wadi Mubarak. It recommends the development of training programs for lecturers and the formulation of a curriculum that is more responsive to the needs of the students.
