Abstract
This research aims to describe the application of teaching strategies in developing speaking skills among learners in learning the Arabic language. The study focuses on how teaching methods and educational tools influence the ability to speak effectively, particularly in the educational environment of Al-Ma’tuq Institute at the first-grade junior high school level. The researcher employed a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of the study, from the learners’ perspective, show that using communicative methods—such as the use of PowerPoint—contributes to increasing students' active participation and expanding their vocabulary in speaking contexts. From the teachers’ side, it enables the development of teaching methods through specific approaches for teaching speaking skills. Additionally, a supportive environment and habituation in using Arabic in daily life further enhance the development of speaking abilities. This research recommends the continuous and creative use of PowerPoint in teaching Arabic, particularly in the area of oral skills.
