Abstract
This study aims to examine the Arabic language studying in developing speaking skills among students at Riyadhus Syifa institute in Sukabumi, and to highlight the role of using the book of Al- ‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk in enhancing their speaking proficiency. And to enrich expertise and knowledge in the field of education, particularly in teaching speaking skills, the researcher conducted this study. This study is based on the descriptive-analytical method and statistical analysis approach. In terms of the research type used by the researcher, it is quantitative methods. Data collection in this research was conducted through personal interviews, questionnaire distribution, and documentation. The data was then analysed using the Miles and Huberman method along with statistical analysis techniques. This study found two key conclusions regarding the role of using the book Al- ‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk in developing students' speaking skills at Riyadhus Syifa institute in Sukabumi. The first conclusion is that Arabic language education at the institute primarily focuses on developing speaking skills using Al- ‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk with the book’s curriculum in the classroom. Outside of the classroom, there is also a dedicated conversation program designed for enhancing speaking proficiency, known as Al-Muḥādaṡah. The second conclusion is that the use of Al- ‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk plays a significant role in improving and enhancing students' speaking proficiency. According to the data collected, 58% of students responded with "Agree," while 33% responded with "Strongly Agree." In contrast, only 9% of students responded with "Disagree." This indicates that the book Al- ‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk contributes effectively to helping students develop their speaking skills, as the number of students who agreed significantly outweighs those who did not
