Abstract
Language drills are considered one of the basic subjects in the development of the four skills of learners and contribute to the expansion of the linguistic repertoire. The researcher focused on the challenges that beginners face in distinguishing between vocabulary words that are similar in letter, meaning, or sound, which negatively affects the level of understanding. With the development of educational tools, it became necessary to find new educational tools that help solve these difficulties. The research proposes the use of the Magic Disc program as an interactive and visual educational tool that helps facilitate the learning process inside and outside the classroom. The research aims to explore and describe the aspects of using the Magic Disc program in this context among first-level female students at STIBA Ar-Raayah Sukabumi. The research aims to explore and describe the utilization of the Magic Disc program in this context among first-level female students at Al Raya University Sukabumi. This is in the language training course, especially in recognizing vocabulary that is similar (whether in terms of letters, meanings, or sounds). The type of this research is qualitative research, the method used for this study is the descriptive-analytical method, where the researcher described how the Magic Disc program is used in distinguishing between similar vocabulary, by collecting information, then analyzing it, and reaching conclusions. The researcher found that the program offers multiple educational benefits, such as helping students to distinguish between words in terms of writing and meaning, supporting the self-assessment process, enhancing understanding through repetition and review, and providing various learning styles to suit the needs of students.
