Abstract

Da'wah is a noble mission and a key pillar in spreading Islamic teachings, especially in the digital era marked by rapid technological and media advancements. Traditional media such as radio face serious challenges in maintaining relevance amid the rise of digital and visual content. Fajri 99.3 FM Radio, based in Bogor, Indonesia, serves as a prominent example of how Islamic media can respond to these shifts. The station seeks to convey Islamic values in a way that combines authenticity with technological adaptation. This study aims to explore the challenges faced by Fajri 99.3 FM in spreading da’wah and the strategies used to overcome them. The researcher used a descriptive field research method, gathering data through interviews, direct observation, and analysis of the station’s official documents. The findings show that Fajri Radio encounters several challenges: reduced interest in traditional radio among the younger, digital-native generation; competition with misleading religious content online; and limited technological resources. In response, Fajri Radio strengthens its digital presence through social media platforms such as YouTube, Telegram, and Instagram. These efforts help extend the reach of da’wah messages and ensure the station remains relevant and impactful in the evolving digital landscape.
