Abstract
This research explores the educational methodology of Muhammad Ahmad al-Rashid as a comprehensive model that blends Islamic principles with practical realities, addressing the needs of contemporary Islamic outreach. The topic was chosen due to Indonesia’s pressing need for an authentic and dynamic approach that bridges thought and activism, theory and application—especially amid rapid intellectual, social, and technological challenges. The study aims to analyze the educational foundations used by al-Rashid in developing da'wah cadres and to explore the potential for applying his model in the Indonesian context. Using a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach, it draws from al-Rashid’s works and contextual studies of local da'wah realities. Findings reveal that his methodology emphasizes sincerity, family-based da'wah work, phased education (pre, during, post), theory-practice integration, exemplary leadership, openness to creativity and ijtihad, modern media utilization, specialization, and institutionalized da'wah. The research offers practical strategies for implementation in Indonesia and contributes to the renewal of educational thought in Islamic outreach.
