Abstract

The need for soft skills training activities for students of the Arabic Language Education Department at STIBA Ar Raayah arose due to the lack of programs specifically designed to develop these skills. This research aimed to identify the essential soft skills required by the students in the field of education, why these skills are considered fundamental, and how to implement the proposed training activity to shape the personality of a future teacher. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The study reached two main findings: 1) There are four essential soft skills: communication, problem-solving, creativity and innovation, and time management. These skills are necessary to form effective and influential teachers. 2) The training implementation consists of two stages: the planning stage, which includes setting goals, choosing the right time, and preparing the activities; and the implementation stage, which involves delivering material related to these skills using various training methods. Communication skills are trained through role-playing strategies, problem-solving through problem-based learning, creativity through small group discussions, and time management through project-based learning strategies. This structured approach aims to support the personal and professional development of future teachers.
