Abstract

This study aims to identify the idiomatic vocabulary learned from the book Al-Minah Al-‘Aliyyah fi Bayan As-Sunan Al-Yawmiyyah that can be used to develop speaking skills for beginner non-Arabic speakers, as well as to explore how this vocabulary can be utilized in the learning process.The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical method to conduct this study by tracing the idiomatic vocabulary in the book, analyzing its linguistic and terminological meanings, and then explaining how it can be used to enhance speaking skills for this group of learners.The findings revealed forty idiomatic expressions in the first part of the book (using Sunan Mawqūtah as an example), which can be effectively utilized to develop beginners' speaking abilities—especially when presented in the form of dialogues, language exercises, or vocabulary analysis that includes these terms along with their explanations. These results highlight the significant educational value of this book in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, particularly in developing oral proficiency.
