Abstract

The advancement of the digital era has opened new opportunities for spreading Islamic da'wah through various platforms, especially YouTube. The YouTube channel of Muhammad Nuzul Dzikri serves as an effective medium to convey da'wah messages using animation. This research is significant in exploring how animation can become a creative and effective alternative for delivering Islamic values amid the flood of digital content. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies used by the channel in presenting animated da'wah content and to examine how it engages audiences through verbal and non-verbal communication. This study adopts a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. Data were collected through non-participant observation of ten animation videos, documentation of visual and message elements, and interviews with a media team member. The findings reveal that the da'wah strategy combines emotional, rational, and sensory approaches, supported by technical strategies such as performance evaluation, engaging titles, and consistent uploads. This research contributes a fresh perspective on digital da'wah innovation using visual media. Its findings serve as a reference for preachers and Islamic institutions to develop relevant, appealing, and sharia-compliant digital content strategies in modern da'wah practices.
