Abstract

This research aims to study the additional verbs contained in Surat Maryam. The research includes an applied aspect of how to employ these verbs in teaching language exercises, and Surat Maryam will be used as an applied model to explore  the weights of verbs contained in Surat Maryam with addition to providing practical suggestions that can be used in teaching  language exercises.The researcher relied in his study on the qualitative or qualitative method, where  the researcher  relies on collecting information and data from sources such as the Qur'an,books, and previous studies and then classifies and presents the data. The method used to collect data is documentation.The researcher found the additional verbs in Surat Maryam 59 (fifty-nine)  and their details are as follows: 35 (thirty-five) verses of triple verbs increased by one letter, 23 (twenty-thincist irawann 2incist irawann 2ree) verses of triple verbs increased by two letters, 1 (one) any of the triple verbs increased by three letters. The weights of the triple verbs are mentioned in Surat Maryam, they are with a letter (verb, subject, and do), and triple verbs with two letters (fabricate, do, do, do), and then the type of triple verbs with three letters on the weight of only act. How to benefit from the verbs mentioned in Surat Maryam in full in teaching language exercises based on the three exercises: automatic or stereotypical exercises, meaning exercises, and communicative exercises.
