The Effectiveness of Language Reinforcement Activities in Enriching Vocabulary Among Middle School Students at Imam At-Tabari Institute Bogor

Abstract
In this era, we observe that some institutes employ various methods and implement extracurricular activities to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. Among them is Imam At-Tabari Institute Bogor, which conducts language reinforcement activities as a means to enrich students' vocabulary. This research aims to identify the implementation of language reinforcement activities among middle school students at Imam At-Tabari Institute Bogor and evaluate their effectiveness. The researcher used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and field study design. Data was collected through pre-tests, post-tests, documentation, observation, and interviews. The results show that the language reinforcement activity is conducted once a week on Saturday nights, focusing on teaching new vocabulary and reinforcing its use in various contexts. The activity proved effective, with students' average scores increasing from 42.6 in the pre-test to 90.3 in the post-test, demonstrating significant improvement in vocabulary enrichment. Statistical analysis using a t-test confirmed that this improvement was statistically significant (p < 0.05).
